Johnny Graham founded Churchill's in 1981 with the sole purpose of making the finest port and since then the quality of Churchill's Port has won praise from the leading wine writers including Robert Parker who wrote "in less than one decade Churchills has established an impeccable reputation for quality" (Wine Advocate).
In their second decade, Churchill's have complemented their wine making skills by becoming growers as well as shippers. In 1999, they acquired two renowned Grade A rated vineyards, Quinta da Gricha and Quinta do Rio, both perfectly located in the Cima Corgo region of the Douro.
By controlling every aspect of production from grape to bottle.
This 10 year old Tawny Port starts its life like a young Vintage Port. Although fully aged in wood, it still retains the freshness of youth which is reflected in its darker brick colour and lively finish.
